Although there was at least 20 percent less rain in June, the amount of rain in July was normal. Normal rain is predicted for this August. Although it rained at the beginning of the month, it suddenly started decreasing. The Meteorological Department highlights the weather conditions of 51 stations in the country every day. It can be seen that today, it rained in only 14 of these stations. The previous day, it rained in almost the same number of stations. However, the maximum temperature today was higher than yesterday. Today, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Khulna, 36.5 degrees Celsius. The previous day, the highest temperature was in Rajshahi, 35.7 degrees Celsius.

There is a forecast of rain in many places in Rangpur division tomorrow as well. In addition, there may be rain in some places in Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions.

In the meantime, the Meteorological Office has predicted the formation of a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal next Wednesday. But it is not certain how much rain will fall in Bangladesh as a result of that low pressure, said meteorologist Omar Faruk. He said, the type of low pressure that is now understood, it may be towards the north and central Bay of Bengal. It may not bring enough rain to the coast of Bangladesh. However, it can be said that the rain will increase slightly.

Meteorologist Omar Farooq said that another low pressure may form this month.

There was a forecast of a low pressure forming this month. The meteorologist said that the low pressure of this phase may eventually turn into a land depression. Its impact is unlikely to fall much on Bangladesh.
